Sonic Rumble 32-player mobile platforming battle royale is coming this winter

Sega has revealed Sonic Rumble, a 32-player mobile platform battle royale, and it’s coming this winter. As par for the course in battle royale-style games, Sonic Rumble pits 32 players against each other in various stages and obstacles to be the last man standing.

In the reveal trailer, it’s clear that players will control various characters from the SEGAS Sonic the Hedgehog series universe, including Sonic, of course, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, Dr. Eggman and potentially more. As you play, you collect rings and these are used to customize your characters into special outfits and more.

Sonic Rumble doesn’t have a release date yet, but Sega says it’s releasing this winter. Since it is a mobile game, it is expected to hit iOS and Android. If you are interested in trying out the game, You can sign up for beta tests now.
